Activities Assistants - Part Time

The Flower Bowl is a multi-activity leisure venue offering curling, ten-pin bowling, a three-screen cinema, crazy golf, a golf simulator, crazy pool and a VR ride. In addition to these activities, the centre boasts a variety of dining options.

As an Activities Assistant, you are responsible for taking care of our Bowling, Golf, Curling and VR ride guests, as well as providing first-class customer service at Reception.

We are looking for enthusiastic assistants who are willing to learn or improve their technical skills, whether it be, oiling the bowling lanes, cutting the curling ice, or answering emails and phone calls.

Full training will be provided – no prior experience is required.

Customer interaction and personality is key for us. With the only curling rink in England, we are looking for high energy people to help lead curling sessions for customers and become part of our team of curling coaches.

Working Patterns:

1. Monday, Tuesday, Friday plus alternate weekends (average 25 hours)  –  OR

2. Working Monday, Thursday Friday plus alternate weekends (average of 25 hours) –  OR

3. Working Wednesday, Thursday Friday plus alternate weekends (average of 27.25 hours) –  OR

All these roles will include a mix of early, mid and late shifts to cover service between 8 am and 11 pm

Pay and Benefits

Salary: £8.00 per hour at aged under 18 years, £10.85 at 18 to 21 years and £12.71 at 21+ years.
Staff discount – on all activities and 20% discount at Barton Grange Garden Centre.
